We started the cheese production many decades ago, in a vlach village, the Avdella of Grevena. There, with few animals at beginning and learning the secrets of cheese as it used to be,began to make the traditional cheese of sheep and goat milk in tsantila (Tsantila is a square cotton cloth that allows the cheese to drain naturally), where it initially covered the needs of the family.

Afterwards, due to it's traditional recipe and taste, it began timidly to spread the demand of, something that force the family to increase livestock, since one of the secret of success is that milk comes exclusively from sheep and goats of our family. We are the third generation of the Gana family that continues the tradition that goes from generation to generation, until today our headquarters is Tirnavos, Larisa.
Bringing along our knowledge of livestock breeding and the cheese production that we inherited from our ancestors, we created a small traditional cheese factory, continuing the tradition of our family with respect and love both interms of the product and the consumer.

The taste of our cheeses comes from the way they were produced as we learned it. Greek, vlach and traditional, is with one word unique.

Our love for tradition became international and we were delighted to have received the Gold Award at the World's Cheese Awards 2019, for our traditional cheese in tsantila.

And how else, since the way is the old..so unique! And so we continue..
